I like seeing smiles. I enjoy having regular engagements with friends as well as making and nurturing new connections. Equivalently, in these interactions, I feel great when I find ourselves having fun experiences when going through our agendas or when using random objects. Good people, good designs, good experiences, good times. This vision of a serene and stress-free society just puts me in the right state of being so I usually find myself diving into the back stories behind these everyday life paradigms.
I’m currently in the Bay Area pursuing a client services role focused in the SaaS industry. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Ateneo de Manila University and now have 7+ years experience in providing webinar and virtual event solutions and support for clients and associates. I also have a solid background in front-end web development.
Through my blog Journey to UX, I share examples of designs and human experiences from a user experience perspective. I study different UX concepts and illustrate them through these examples in a rather unconventional approach.
On my web development projects, I collaborate with contacts to help build their websites with UX concepts in mind and using HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress and the leading web development libraries and frameworks.
I also enjoy designing and building objects of aesthetic and functional value focusing on steelwork, powder coating and laser cutting. I’ll be sharing my projects here soon!
